Charging Devices That Actually Work

After burning through countless chargers and dealing with dead batteries at the worst moments, I started documenting what works and what fails. These are my findings after three years of testing.

Why I Started This Site

Back in 2022, I was traveling through Japan when my laptop charger died in Osaka. No backup. The replacement I bought at a convenience store lasted exactly four days before it started overheating. That trip taught me something important: most people have no idea what makes a good charger.

Since then, I have tested over 40 different charging devices across various brands and price points. Some were excellent. Many were mediocre. A few were genuinely dangerous. This site exists to share what I have learned so you can avoid the mistakes I made.

Everything here comes from actual use. I do not accept sponsored products or affiliate payments. When I recommend something, it is because I have personally used it for months.

How I Test

Long-Term Use

Every device gets at least three months of daily use before I write about it. First impressions lie.

Real Conditions

I test in actual situations: airports, hotel rooms, coffee shops, home offices. Not a controlled lab.

No Sponsorships

I buy everything myself. The moment money enters the equation, objectivity leaves.
